Gitanjali
Gitanjali currently practices Energy Medicine out of Whole Medicine in Capitola/Santa Cruz and Los Gatos California. She leads ongoing apprenticeship groups, workshops and classes in Energy Medicine both independently and as an instructor at Twin Lakes College of The Healing Arts and at Luminous Body Integral School of Energy Medicine. She facilitates ceremony for weddings, blessingways (mothers preparing to birth) and young girls rights of passage.
Gitanjali holds a degree from California Institute of Integral Studies, she has been Shamanically trained, and has studied under Dr. Kam Yuen a 25th generation Shaolin Master as well as with numerous other teachers and masters all over the world.
Gitanjali works in a client centered way, valuing the inherent wisdom within her clients and students. She serves as a guide to help them align more strongly with, and embody more fully, their own true nature. Her passion for healing and her loving presence inspire and bring comfort to those who work with her.
She believes that as each one of us heals, it ripples out to the people around us, gracefully transforming our world.

Energy Medicine Apprenticeship Group
These classes are designed both for practitioners of the healing arts and for people interested in being more versed in the subtle aspects of what it means to be human.
The apprenticeship/practicum will have an initial 2 day meeting and then will meet 1 day per month for a year. The class will include light enjoyable homework, recommended readings, practices, projects and e-mail support between classes.

Energy Medicine
Energy Medicine is the practice of facilitating wellness by addressing the subtle energy fields around and within the human body. Due to the integrative nature of the fields; physical, mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual issues can all be addressed through this work.
The premise of working with the fields is that all physical illness or life distortions are a result of imbalance within the energy body. If disturbance in the fields is addressed early enough illness and disease need not manifest into the physical. If symptoms are already presenting physically, then working with the fields addresses the root cause of the issue, giving more traction and depth to the healing process.
This work is not meant to take the place of allopathic medicine or clinical psychology. It is however, very beneficial in conjunction with them.
Inherent in our culture is the belief that evolution has ended with us. The truth is, we are constantly evolving beings on an emergent journey that is still unfolding and knows no end. Being in a conscious relationship with that journey, I believe, is what healing is all about.
